Emile Devereaux works at the intersection of electronic media production and theory. His artistic practice includes interactive electronics installation, 3D animation, and digital media. His work has been shown widely as broadcast media and in international exhibitions, including such venues as Ars Electronica in Linz, Austria, The Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art, and De Fabriek in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Recently, he worked on a site-specific video installation in Majdanpek, Serbia, and was invited as a specialist in video art to lecture at the University of Montenegro. A sculptural video object, Osmosis, is included in the group exhibition Subjected Culture: Interruptions and Resistance on Femaleness currently on display in Argentina. Emile serves on the Board of Directors of MIX NYC, and is an Assistant Professor of digital media production and theory in the Film and Media Studies Program and the Department of Art and Art History at the University of Rochester. radiofilm.com
